For Return to Sender this year, we drew inspiration from “My Favorite Things” song elements. Each Return to Sender packet will contain 3 oz of custom dyed Shaniko wool from Carolyn Greenwood, Greenwood Fiberworks.
There are many ways to spin these beautifully colored fibers: separate or combine the colors, remove a portion or add other fiber to it or just plain spin (to name a few). Experiment, create and most of all have fun! If you choose to blend or ply this fiber with a new color(s) or fiber(s), you may add up to 50% of the additional fiber (up to 1.5 ounce if you are spinning the entire 3 ounces). The only other requirement is that the returned skein of yarn must be at least 75 yards in length.
We will open up the order form on October 10, 2026. Ordering Deadline is November 30, 2026, but will remain open if we still have packets available. We will take orders until we run out of packets. Packets are available, first-come first-served. Packets are limited to one per person. We encourage guild coordinated group orders.

Skeins must be brought to CNCH 2027 to be exhibited. At the end of the conference, on Sunday April 4 the skeins can be picked up. Specific directions will be sent with the fiber. You don’t need to attend and can have someone else drop off and pick up.
