One of the benefits of Guild membership are our Interest groups. These small, member-led groups generally focus on a specific area of textile study which provides an informal way to learn from other members and to share ideas and common interests. It’s a great way to get to know other guild members in a small setting. All levels of expertise are welcome. You just have to be a paid Guild member to join!

Basketry
The Basketeers
The basketry group is interested in any type of baskets. We’ve made ribbed, round reed and pine needle baskets. We have even put rims on gourds. Our group includes beginners to experienced weavers. Our plans for this year include: small round reed basket, Japanese Knot basket, May basket, Scones basket and a Leaf basket.

Meeting: We meet on the third Fridays of the month. We rotate meeting places between library and community meeting rooms and homes.

Natural Dyeing
The Dyeversities
The natural dye group includes dyers of different levels of experience and skill. Our explorations may vary from the focused to the serendipitous but we all find joy in the camaraderie of fellow dyers, and the beauty and gifts from our natural world.

Meeting: We meet as agreed to by the members but are generally held the third Wednesday of the month.

Tapestry
The tapestry group is a small friendly group who welcome all levels from beginners to more experienced weavers. Our group includes those who weave traditional tapestry, rugs, wedge weave and other weft faced structures. We offer each other support with our weaving questions and work out solutions together. There is always something to learn and something new to try.
If you are just getting started we are happy to get you going. If you just want to weave with some like-minded folks, we would love to have you join in.

Meeting: Times and locations as agreed upon by members..
